| Softwoods such as Pine refer predominantly to the lumber
generated from the milling of coniferous or "evergreen" trees. These trees produce
needles instead of leaves, and cones instead of flowers. Softwoods are commonly
used in construction due to the fact that they are easy to work with and readily
available in a range commonly used construction sizes. LeNoble Lumber carries a
wide selection of grades and species of structural lumber. These species include:
SPF, Spruce, Douglas Fir, Eastern Hemlock, Western Hem-Fir, and White Fir. |

| Other
than being used for construction,
pines are routinely used
as finishing lumber due
to their workability and
appearance. Pines are stocked
in a wide variety of sizes
from ½” thick
to 8/4” thick and
from 2” wide to 12” wide.
Species include: Radiata,
Eastern White, Sugar, Ponderosa,
Idaho, and Southern Yellow.
Other sizes and species
are available upon request;
please call for availability
of certain sizes and species. |
