| The Asian long horned beetle and the
Pinewood Nematode are pests that can have a devastating
effect on certain crops. The United States government
has mandated that all lumber shipped out of this country
comply with the rules and standards set up in ISPM 15
(International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures). |

| Basically the standard insures that
these pests have been eradicated from the lumber and
removes any environmental barrier to international lumber
trade. LeNoble Lumber stocks a complete line of “Heat
Treated” lumber. All lumber meeting this standard
will be stamped with an “HT” stamp. Please
look for this stamp when purchasing or selling any material
making the claim that it is “Heat Treated”. |
