| The term “Hardwood” refers
to wood that comes from
a deciduous tree, a tree
that bears either fruits
or nuts and has broad flat
leaves.
Hardwoods are desired
for many of their unique
properties. Most domestic
hardwoods are used for
furniture and cabinet construction
because of the lumber’s
durability and appearance.
In addition to domestic
species, we carry a number
of exotic hardwoods, prized
for their color, weather
resistance, and job specific
applications. These species
include: Poplar,
Oak, Mahogany, Sapele,
Ash, Maple, Cherry, Walnut,
Teak, and Ipe. This lumber
is available in a number
of different “cuts” and “figuring's”.
