| Whether you are attempting to add warmth

siding the exterior of a building cedar is an excellent
option. Because cedar is less dense than many other woods,
it contains a large amount of internal air cavities. Air
is an excellent thermal insulator and cedar insulates against
both heat loss and sound transmission. It is a durable wood
and tends to be very stable. It is highly workable due to
its straight grain, and is available in common and clear
